family tree
family tree
painted by my mother long ago
she was a creative lady every day
......................................
I relished the comfort of creating a small piece
in the afternoon light this month
knowing that it was being done

Wonderful... I love how this is a little you, and a little your mother, Elk. You come from a very creative set of genes! Happy Days :o) ((HUGS))

I am loving your collages - especially your family tree - what a great gift your mom passed along to you - it has been a great month at AEDM - hope to continue seeing your creations~~

I have so enjoyed your creations this month. I agree with you that it was a wonderful thought that others were creating at the same time. It is so special how you incorporated your mother's art with yours.

ELK, Love it. I'm a tree hugger, so I love nature inspired art.
Thank you for visiting my blog, I think you should give beeswax a try! I use a quilting iron to melt the brick of delish beeswax, (smells like honey) right over the collage and then smooth it with the iron. No chemicals, and it's very strong, you will love it!
Hugs,
carmen

Most appropriate for the end of the month! I like how you echo the shape of the tree in your collage pieces. It has an oriental feel to it; wonderful!
